History & Structure of Organisation


Pay Accounts Office (Army) Jabalpur came into existence on 4th October, 1976 which was later re-designated as Area Accounts Office (CC) Jabalpur in 1979 under the administrative jurisdiction of the then CDA (CC) Meerut. The Area Accounts Office at that time was headed by an Asst CDA with 10 sub-Offices under its administrative jurisdiction including one RAO, three LAO s, 4 AAO GEs and 2 AAO BSOs.

Consequent upon the re-organization and amalgamation of Other Ranks Controllers with the Regional Controllers, the erstwhile Area Accounts Office (CC), Jabalpur was upgraded to CDA Jabalpur on 15.01.1995 and was put under the charge of the IDAS officer in the senior Administrative Grade.
